Food of the Month

Our online editor shares her favourite treat for April

For every month that passes, it has become increasingly difficult for me to choose my food of the month – especially with the multitude of delicious dishes that have passed through my palates recently. However, since I have a weakness for noodles – be it Mie Ayam Abang-Abang (chicken noodles sold by cart-pushing hawkers), Chinese-style Bakmi(noodles with minced pork or chicken) or Bakmi Jogja Goreng (Javanese-style fried noodles) – this time around I’ve chosen the signature creation of Bakmi Kepiting 78E Ayau. A favourite of mine during my childhood years, its Bakmi Kepiting is topped with plenty mouth-watering crabmeat and deserves its time in the sun as my food of the month. Have a go at it, and you’ll get what I’m saying.
