Together, Parador Hotels & Resorts and Bondan Winarno take Indonesian food to a whole new level.

The sorry state of affairs in the local hospitality industry has seen only a handful of hotels actively promoting Indonesian cuisine. Fortunately, this situation was not lost on Parador Hotels & Resorts as they decided to collaborate with culinary expert Bondan Winarno in an attempt to resuscitate the reputation of our local food. In commemoration of this promising partnership, the hotel operator launched the first round of its Indonesian cuisine promotion on January 20, 2016 at Atria Hotel Gading Serpong.
The promotion will run until further notice, and guests of Atria Hotel Gading Serpong are able to sample the various local delicacies available, including Bubur Benteng, Laksa Benteng, Gurame Pucung, Daging Kaleyo, Perkedel Jagung, and Gurame Pesmol. Furthermore, the hotel is also offering a special package called the Maknyus Platter for both lunch and dinner as well. This menu is available at the hotel’s dining outlets as well as via room service.
All the dishes that are in the menu for this promo are meticulously prepared by Bondan and Parador’s corporate team of chefs. According to Parador Hotels & Resorts’ corporate executive chef Gatot Susanto, the team – including himself – make regular trips to traditional markets in order to discover the proper methods to cooking up these local treats. This is to ensure and reinforce the traditional authenticity of the food, while also to maintain the hygienic quality of the produce used.
The Maknyus Platter will also be available in Atria Hotel Mageleng and Atria Hotel Malang soon.
